Always a great experience. Sam is my stylist and she always gets it right. I tell her what I want and she is a true artist. She's has a great eye and if she doesn't think it will work, she will tell you and not try to sell what you don't need. The salon is beautiful and the staff is professional and friendly. The products are top of the line. Love it!

I get my hair blown out here almost every week, and it always looks fabulous . Recently, I have been going to Lina who is beyond amazing. I get so many complements I get on my hair, and it really lasts. My hair is thick and course, and she knows just how to handle it. On top of her expert talent, she is also the nicest person and has so much patience. I highly recommend her!

Moxi Salon has great service. Jojo took care of me right on time and really spent her time doing my hair to make sure it was what I wanted. She was so friendly and really knew what she was doing. The environment is really friendly and all of the employees really work together as a team. I would recommend making an appointment in advance though because they are busy. They also have Sunday hours which is really great!
I found this place about a year or two ago through Groupon and I have not strayed since. I go Darlene who is absolutely fantastic! I always get so many compliments on my hair and it's all thanks to her. One of the few hairstylists I've met that understood that I want a hair cut that works with my curly hair, but also looks great when I have the time to blow it out. If you go to moxie 100% ask for Darlene!
I went to Moxie a few weeks ago for a cut and blow-dry. I had been going to the same stylist out of state for years, and was a bit nervous trying out a new salon, but the service was great, and the cut was wonderful! Lacey and I chatted before she started the cut to understand what I wanted and how I normally styled my hair so that it would be manageable in the mornings and not too outside of what I was used to. She cleaned up my layers, and gave me a beautiful blowout, and I truly walked out of there feeling fabulous! I highly recommend Lacey and will definitely be going back to her for future cuts.
Came in from my cousin's recommendation and had my first appointment with Michelle. I needed to figure out what to do with my super dead blonde hair that I got done a year before and I figured I wanted to let it grow out. I came in with nasty, overgrown roots (my natural hair is a super dark brown- almost black color) and I just wanted to get rid of that harsh line between the bleached hair and my dark roots. Michelle knew exactly what to do and even talked me through exactly what she was going to do with it- which I loved! The line wasn't harsh anymore and I let it grow out for a few more months until the fall when I wanted to go completely dark to my natural color. I came back and Michelle did a phenomenal job with my process of going back to my natural color. I really love how she explains the process and answers every question I have. Love her personality too and so easy to talk to! The actual salon is super cute too!
The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Listened to all my needs and made me feel incredible.
The people here are always nice. I've been for three cuts now after losing my stylist seven years ago. I like the brightness of this salon and it's convenience to downtown Montclair.
